Kiev, June 29: Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has admitted that his side must counter Italy's ''perfect'' midfield in Sunday's Euro 2012 final clash.
La Roja struggled past Portugal on Wednesday night, needing penalties to overcome their Iberian neighbours following a hard-fought 0-0 draw.
Meanwhile, Italy maintained their status as the tournament's surprise package by defeating Germany 2-1 and Del Bosque admits he has his work cut out in stopping the Azzurri.
''We still have two days for the final match and I have enough time to think who is better for the Spanish line-up,'' he told Radio Marca.
''Italy has found the perfect midfield with [Andrea] Pirlo and [Daniele] De Rossi and they have a very strong defence. I think they will repeat the same team that beat Germany.
''The team's axis is Pirlo and Balotelli. In the group stage [meeting between the sides], they were possibly better in the first half. They were the team that caused us the most problems.
